The A. James Clark School of Engineering is offering a summer program. Are you in search of something productive to do this summer? Are you interested in becoming an engineer? The Pre-College Scholars Program is a great opportunity for students to prepare for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (S.A.T.) while learning more about engineering and the college experience!
For the upcoming program, which will run from mid-June to late-July, they are recruiting rising juniors and seniors who have an interest in and aptitude for mathematics, science and/or engineering. The program is currently targeting students from schools in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Baltimore City, Maryland, and select schools in Montgomery County, Maryland (Albert Einstein HS, John F. Kennedy HS, Northwood HS, and Wheaton HS). Students from schools in Washington, DC are encouraged to apply as well. I have attached a program flyer for your review and dissemination to qualified students. Additional information can also be found at http://www.ursp.umd.edu/precollege-scholars-program .
