Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Oppurtunity

I am pleased to inform seniors that the online application of the Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program is now available at www.jackierobinson.org. This scholarship program is designed to help financial needs of minority college students and provide comprehensive mentoring services through its 42 Strategies for Success Curriculum.

Their 42 Strategies for Success Curriculum is just as important as financial assistance and are the extensive support services that JRF scholars receive throughout their college careers. JRF scholars would receive grants of up to $30,000 over their 4 years to complement their financial aid. The scholars would also be sponsored to attend JRF’s 4-day annual Mentoring and Leadership Conference that is held in New York as well as other regional events.

Once you’ve been selected, the scholars would receive a generous four-year grant to assist with their college or university of their choice. This scholarship is only awarded to outstanding high school graduates who plan to earn a baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year college/university. Additional fellowships are given to JRF Scholars to pursue opportunities to work and study abroad, and for post-graduate education.
