Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Tau Delta Zeta Chapter Scholarship

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is offering a scholarship for diligent high school female senior students. To be eligible for this scholarship you must be a resident of Prince George’s County, MD, accepted into an accredited four-year college or university, has an overall grade point average of 2.5 (C+) or greater, has not received any other scholarship from Tau Delta Zeta Chapter, and motivated to achieve their educational and career goals. You must send a typed application, typed essay, your most recent transcript, letters of recommendation, proof of community service, a copy of the candidate’s college/university invoice or schedule (as soon as it is available) showing charges or registered classes, a copy of the candidate’s college/university financial aid award letter (as soon as it is available), and your high school resume. The Scholarship(s) will be awarded in the amounts of $1,500, $1,000, and $750. Funds will be released upon receipt of proof of acceptance/registration into a four-year college or university and most recent transcript. Proof of acceptance/registration must be on official college or university letterhead. Scholarship checks will be forwarded directly to the bursar’s office and made payable to the scholarship recipient and the college. This is a reminder that the Power of the Written Word Scholarship sponsored by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Tau Delta Zeta Chapter is due this Friday, January 26th.  Remember that as long as the application is postmarked by January 26th, and is complete, then it will be accepted. Should there be any questions about completing the application, please contact tdzscholarship@zphibtdz.org.
