Dejah Grant Signs To Hampton University

On Thursday, November 14, 2018, Senior Track Runner Dejah Grant held an event in which she would be announcing where she would be continuing her academic and athletic career. Her top 4 choices were Morgan State University, UMBC, North Carolina A&T, and Hampton University. Dejah chose to take her outstanding track skills and 3.6 gpa to Hampton University on a full ride scholarship. I got a chance to ask Dejah a couple of questions about her decision:

Terrence: “Why was Hampton the right school for you?”

Dejah: “Hampton was the right school for me because I believe it can help me grow as an athlete and as a student! I felt like home being there. I went on multiple visits prior to my official visit!”

Terrence: “What kept you focused throughout High School?”

Dejah: “What kept me focused was knowing I didn’t want to pay a dime in college. Many people leave college with debt and I won’t be one of them!!”

We wish Dejah Goodluck on her future career at Hampton University! Go Jags!
