The Beauty of Fall

You look out the window and glimpse at the bruised sky as it prepares to let its tears fall.

You take in the vast expanse of trees that glint in shades of blood reds and creamy yellows.

You notice leaves as golden as a warm summer sunset strewn around every walkway.

Enraptured, you open the window to immerse yourself fully in the beauty of fall.

You feel the sharp sting of the wind on your cheeks as it caresses your skin.

You see the green grass writhe and glisten under the pressure of the sky’s tears.

You hear birds humming and harmonizing to create a soft symphony that swells to a crescendo.

Taken aback, you stand in awe and admire the subdued yet vivid beauty of fall.
