The Zeta Chi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. plans to award no less than four (4) scholarships at $1,000.00 each (no more than one per person) to graduating seniors at Prince George’s County Maryland high schools. All scholarships will be a one-time award. They will attempt to make no more than one award per participating high school.

Eligibility Criteria

Prince George’s County Maryland High School graduating senior.
Must have record of community service.
Must be applying to a college with a fall 2017 matriculation date
Must be a resident of Prince George County Maryland

Deadline for submission of Application: March 15, 2017

Application Requirements

Completed application
High School Transcript
Current photo
Two letters of recommendation (minimum).  One from a professional
source (principal, department head, teacher, counselor; etc.) and one
from a community or job related source.
Proof of residency
Signed media waiver to use image for Phi Beta Sigma press releases and stories
A 300 to 500 Word Essay

We will make effort to notify the winning applicants by May 15, 2017 but certainly by May 31, 2017.
