The Girls in Technology STEM Career Planning Seminar will be on Saturday, April 8th, 2017, 9am – 2:30pm. This event will be held at Blackboard, 1111 19th Street N.W. Washington, DC.
This is a free seminar designed for women ages 18-25 who are interested in careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. Rising college freshmen are also encouraged to attend.
The program helps empower and support young women by providing training and access to STEM professionals and opportunities needed to pursue their dreams. In this one-day seminar, a team of experts will offer guidance, tips, and advice to help you. Huma Azim from Acumen Solutions will teach how to create stand-out resumes. Kelsey Johnson from The Center for Career Services at George Washington University will help plan your job searching strategy. Yasmin Anderson, CEO of KYMS Image International will teach you how to develop your personal brand and professional narrative. Register today!
