The Junior Varsity softball team at Flowers High School ended their spring season with a loss to Bowie High School 10-18. “This wasn’t the best season, but as the season went on we progressed as a team.¨ said Kene Onyeachonal, a freshman on the team.
“I think the season …” said Timi Olaitan, “went pretty well because I had a lot of fun playing with my teammates.” According to Olaitan, the downfall of their season was when they lost to Frederick Douglass High School. Olaitan explained that at that point, they had the potential to win but they lost due to a lack of communication.
Overall, the team had a rewarding season. Hopefully, they will come back ready to work next season.
