Hurricane Harvey

"Roseanne Akindo"

On Thursday August 17, 2017 Hurricane Harvey began and dropped about 40-65 inches of rainfall in southwest Texas. It is currently the strongest hurricane to hit the U.S. in more than a decade and also classified as a Category 4 storm. Harvey started as a tropical depression and exploded rapidly to a major hurricane in less than 36 hours and lasted until Sunday September 3, 2017.
Some say it was set up by the government and others believe that the world is coming to an end. The hurricane is over but it’s impact will be felt for weeks and months to come.
