Inclusion Drives Innovation
October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy announced that this year, the theme for this year is “Inclusion Drives Innovation”. This month the Department of Labor will be recognizing the many ways disability inclusion benefits today’s innovative economy.
One way the Department of Labor is supporting American workers with disabilities is Disability Mentoring Day which promotes career development for students and graduates with disabilities with career exploration and mentoring.
