On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, the Social Activism Club conducted an interest meeting in room 118 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Ukamaka Aneke, the Social Activism President, understands the importance of having student leaders take initiative. Therefore she advocated for the establishment of this club.
Although there were technical difficulties with viewing their PowerPoint, the President kept members busy by asking them about their political stances. After the problems were resolved, the officers briefly introduced themselves and discussed their goals for the year, while refreshments were also being provided.
In addition, the officers informed members that meetings are every Wednesday in room 118 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Attendance to future meetings are essential for establishing change within our community!
