Flowers Football Dominates Suitland on Homecoming

On Saturday, October 21,2017, the undefeated CH Flowers Jaguars hosted the previously undefeated Suitland Rams. This game was voted the PG county game of the week. It was a lot of hype surrounding this matchup. Flowers got out to a hot start, scoring when Julius Duvall connected with Daniel Buchanan for a score on the first play from scrimmage to go up 7-0. Then after an interception by Rashawn Gilbert, the Jaguars scored again with a little trickery when Buchanan connected with Gilbert for a score to go up 13-0. The Jaguars vaunted defense was out to prove a point with back to back fumble recoveries by Jamree Kromah and Tizlam Muhammad. Setting up a short touchdown run by Julius Duvall going up 20-0. Then after an interception return for a touchdown by LaTreil Wimbley the Jaguars went up 26-0 at halftime. The Jaguars scored again in the second half on a touchdown pass from Duvall to Gilbert, the Jags went up 32-0. The Rams managed two garbage time toudowns. The final score was 32-14 and this was  big time statement game for the 8-0 Flowers Jaguars.
