School lunch will never be like a home meal or a fast food place, but it could at be better. The thing that has changed about school lunch is that it has gotten worse. Not only is the food getting worse, but the price has doubled since three-years ago. You get a small portion of food with a milk or juice that’s less then a cup. Most of the time students don’t eat because of how disappointing the meals are.

The school board could change everything but the food. After working hard doing your work, you should be able to have a enjoyable meal. If my parents are spending their money for me to eat, I should be able to at least have a decent meal. Even if your lunch is free, it doesn’t make it right to give out bad lunch. Students always talk about how bad the lunch is and how no staff sees it.
Students come to school and skip lunch. They end up with a headache because they can’t consume the lunch. Some students could leave and get lunch but they may not make it back to lunch on time and  The price of one tray of food is $3.00. That needs to change. We need to make our lunches better and healthier.
