On October 27th, 2017 Charles Herbert Flowers High School hosted its annual “Pink Out Day”. Shondia Sabari, guest speaker,  shared her testimony with students in the auditorium. Sabari is from Timmonsville, South Carolina. She wants people to know that breast cancer affects everyone. Due to her having breast cancer,  her son  is at a higher risk for prostate cancer. The youngest person she has met with breast cancer is fifteen years old. Some advice she gives people is to know their family history and to get tested  ten years before their relative was diagnosed with cancer.
