Roosevelt Snapchat Gun Threat

Over the weekend, a picture surfaced on the social media app, Snapchat,  of a gun. The snapchat account belonged to a student attending Eleanor Roosevelt High School. The words “THINK IM KIDDING,” appeared on the picture scaring most students in the school.
The police had made the decision to set up patrol at the school and investigate.
The gun resembled a rifle and caused panic at the school. It was later discovered that it was really a BB gun.
Most kids didn’t go to on Monday, October 23, 2017, due to fear. The principal stated that the students who didn’t go to school may be excused if provided a note by parents.
The student responsible for the post will not be charged.
Classes were resumed Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
