On October 23, 2017 Jonyce Bland interviewed Corbin Pettigrew on Junior Varsity cheerleading. Corbin Pettigre has been a cheerleader since she was 4 and she also cheers for Charles Herbert Flowers JV team. The interview started as Jonyce asked Corbin some questions about cheerleading.
Jonyce:”What team are you on”
Corbin: “Charles Herbert Flowers cheerleading team.”
Jonyce: “How long have you been cheering?”
Corbin : “Since I was four.”
Jonyce:”Do you like your team?”
Corbin: “Yes I love my team.”
Jonyce: “Is cheering something you want to do in college?”
Corbin: “No I want to attend medical school.”
Jonyce: “What are your thoughts on cheerleading?”
Corbin: “Cheerleading takes my mind off things and is my stress reliever.”
It’s too late to be a part of the cheerleading team but tryouts would be available next year. Contact Coach Dorian Carter at room 1113 for more information.
