Mr. Pettigrew's AP Language Arts Class

AP Language Arts Class is a class in which students learn to understand the interactions among a writer’s purpose, audience, subject and genre and how each of these contributes to effective writing. The purpose of the class is for students to enhance their writing skills.
Today, November, 1 2017, in Mr. Pettigrew’s 3B AL Language Arts class, students learned how to critique their own work. The exercise showed us how to pick out grammatical and spelling errors in order to receive a higher score on assignments. The way we learned to correct and improvise our work was to not talk in first person when writing a reflective essay or answering rhetorical questions.
