On Thursday, November 16,2017 the Vice Principal for the Juniors, Mr. Miller emailed students a Survey for ID Enforcement as they distribute them in the Cafeteria at all lunches. Safety and security of the students staff and building is every adult’s concern and affects us all here at Charles H. Flowers High School. But we know we can’t do that without you. Moving forward we will be asking every student to wear their student ID visibly around their neck. In the survey you are asked “I would wear my ID everyday if….. ” and there are five answers, they are “…I was able to not wear my uniform if I had my ID on around my neck.”, “…1st period teacher gives extra credit for ID’s and proper uniform.”, “…I was able to go into a lounge during lunch time instead of the cafeteria.”, “…I could randomly be checked for my ID and if properly worn rewarded with tickets to school events” and, Option 5 (Which would be your suggestion). Your completion of the survey will determine the route they will take when enforcing ID’s. On Monday, November 20, 2017 is for make up pictures, for students during your lunch and for teachers during your planning time.
