As the month of November ends so does scholarship month and with it comes testing. On Saturday, December 2, 2017, the SAT will be held nationwide. Students around the country will be given the opportunity to prove their skills to hopefully be accepted to the school of their choice. As test day approaches soon to be test takers should try their best to prepare. The following are a few tips on preparing for the SAT:
- Learn to trust yourself.
- Use the Official SAT Study Guide to practice test tips.
- Use a Vocabulary Builder to prepare yourself for unknown words.
- Use Khan Academy frequently, it is completely free and the best tool to prepare.
- Pace yourself and your practice sessions.
- Learn the quirks of the test. The SAT like any other test has its own rules.
- Know when to skip or guess a question: each question is worth the same.
- Understand the test format.
- Know your formulas.
- Take practice tests!
