Senior Jackie Alston is aspiring to be an established artist. “I want to go to college and major in art teacher education while being an entrepreneur selling my artwork as I take courses to perfect my craft. My artwork was for my world history project last year in Mr.Norman’s class. I gave out a survey and asked people what what did they consider “ attractive “ or “ more beautiful “In women. My artwork represents the results of the survey given. “Beautiful” to them was long hair, brown skin and light brown eyes etc… The words around the woman were positive characteristics that the people wrote down that defines what they thought was positive about a black woman.
