On Tuesday, November 21, 2017, the JV Jaguar basketball team beat the Patuxent Panthers in a scrimmage. The score was 51-30. I asked Arthur Roachè, a player on the team, “what does this first winning mean for team?”
He said, “We started off weak and ended off strong with a good run. We kept on pushing to win. I feel as though this season is going to be great. We will most definitely make playoffs. We’re going to try to be undefeated this season. To many people, this seemed like a scrimmage, but to us it was a game we needed to win. It’s not always how you start the game , it’s how you finish.”
