Every year Mrs.Lee, the conductor of the Project Lead The Way program partners up with Ernest Everett Just (EEJ) Middle School to go on a field trip.This trip is extended to only freshmen enrolled in PLTW and the EEJ eighth graders. The trip allows eighth graders and freshmen to interact with one another so that the freshmen can consider the eighth graders to join the program. Most freshmen enrolled in the PLTW program have been influenced to join the program because of this field trip. This year, on Monday on November 27, the PLTW freshmen and the EEJ eighth graders went to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and visited the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, they also took a tour. Afterwards, they went to the Air and Space Museum for lunch. They later figured out that the McDonald’s there was closed so they had to walk to the nearest one. So in conclusion, the field trip was very interesting and was a hand full.
