ServSafe Certification

December 11, 2017
Students in Mr. Mallardi’s Pro Start 1 class just received their ServSafe test score and certificate if passed. The ServSafe test is a test on the ServSafe curriculum, a food and beverage safety training and certificate program administered by the National Restaurant Association. The test was taken on November 29th in Mr. Mallardi’s classroom, room 1108. Students in Pro Start 1 are required to receive a 70% on the test in order to pass. The test was administered by the National Restaurant Association and is a certification required to work in the majority of restaurants and food service businesses. Services is an important part of every economy and ServSafe only emphasises that fact. There were 6 students that received a 70% or higher to earn their certificate including myself.
