First snow fall

Kemi Ibrahim

Today on December 9, 2017 there was the very first snowfall of autumn, considering that winter has yet to come. The snow been all the rage of the areas in Maryland that received it. Many has said it’s started to feel like Christmas. Although the snow has not effected the sidewalks and roads as of today there will be major effects such as black ice which may lead to accidents on foot or in a vehicle. Therefore, everyone needs to bundle up and restrain from running outside; the temperature has dropped low and it can be dangerous. Things like this is what makes some people dislike snow, meanwhile most kids love it because of the school cancellations. We will still resume school on Monday because the snow was not that effective. As a county we can’t afford any snow days this year, we started late and our breaks have been tremendously short.
