Assin Manson is a river where the slaves where taken from British and where they had took their last bath before being put into dungeons. At Assin Manson slaves where given a bath, branded and where getting sold to masters. British came to Africa to enslave our ancestors and treated them as if they where not human. On November 21, 2017 I was able to visit Assin Manson the slave river. Visiting the slave river is a powerful experience that will have your emotions all over the place. When I visited the slave river I was angry and upset because British came to my ancestors land and enslaved them when they were free. Slavery is a very important event that everyone should have background knowledge of.
