ASA, which stands for African Student Association is getting the modeling team back together. The search for a sponsor has caused the club to be on hold for so long which is why the club seems non-existent.  When asked, Dr. Isebor said “I can’t sponsor ASA because of all the scandal that surrounds it. The school doesn’t want to support you, and I don’t see why I should” In the previous school year of 2016-2017, the ASA dance and modeling team were often found staying after school without a sponsor and this caused them to develop a bad reputation. Not to fear, Mr. Norman has agreed to sponsor the ASA modeling team. Tryouts for the team begin after winter break and the first show is located at Laurel High School and takes place in the month of February.
