On December 10, 2017 during the Philadelphia Eagles vs the Los Angeles Rams game Carson Wentz left the field with a left knee injury towards the end of the 3rd quarter. Wentz took a low hit to his right leg at the same time while he ran into the end zone. The touchdown was called back for a holding penalty on right tackle Lane Johnson. On Monday morning December 11, 2017 There was an update explaining that he tore his ACL and that is season was now over.
