Why Take the ACT ?

The ACT (American College Testing) is a standardized test that measures the general educational development and ability to complete college-level work of high school students. The ACT tests students on english, reading, mathematics, and science. The ACT gives students the opportunity to show the knowledge they have attained in high school. There are many benefits of taking the ACT. Students can retake this test up to twelve times. All of the major four year universities accept ACT scores. Students with a low GPA can use this test as a way to make up for it. The ACT allows students to evaluate the skills they need to improve in. Lastly students can receive scholarships if they do well on the ACT.
