On December 15, 2017 our Jags boys basketball team opened up the season against Parkdale HS. It was an entertaining game from start to finish. Senior Devin Hill was the top scorer with 20 points followed by Senior Juwan Burnett with 14 points. The Jaguars prevailed 81-60. When Cornelius Hawkins was asked about how the game went, he responded, “We came out and we did our due. Team played well as a whole.” When asked about his goals for the season, he added, “ We plan on a undefeated season and playing at University of Maryland in March.” If the Jags keep it up they certainly will be playing for a state title.
