In 1957, Dr. Kwame helped Ghana gain their independence from Britain by changing from a Democratic government to a Republican government, which helped them form their own government free from Queen Elizabeth’s ruling. I visited Dr. Kwame’s museum on November 18, 2017. Outside of Dr. Kwame’s museum, both him and his wife were buried. The museum is located in Accra, which is the capital of Ghana. Dr. Kwame was also the first prime minister and president of Ghana.
