On Wednesday, December 20, 2017, The National Honors Society and The National Art Honors Society worked together to complete a community service project. They went to The Salvation Army and distributed presents to less fortunate families. This was a very humbling experience for all the students who attended.
During this activity, students played the role of Santa’s elves by working hard to give presents to children. The students worked hard from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In total, students distributed presents to more than 100 families. It’s wonderful to know that students from our very own Charles Herbert Flowers High School lended a hand to our community.
