It’s ever so hard to wake from your bed
but be thankful because so many have wound up dead
last night could have been your last
if you had been swallowed with everything from your past
 
It’s not easy living this thing called life
alot of times happy moments are overcome with strife
Remember that you are not alone
there’s always someone to call so pick up that phone
 
Difficulties will make you moan and groan
and others will tell you to man up or grow a backbone
but don’t worry there’s still time to love and grow
and in the end everyone will always reap what they sow
