Nnamdi Olebara Breaks Flowers Record

Terrence Brantley

On December 21,2017, our Indoor Track and Field Team traveled to PG Sports & Learning Complex for a meet. There Nnamdi Olebara, captain of shot put team, took the field and broke the record for longest distance in Flower’s indoor shot put history. He accomplished this with a score of  49 feet and 75 inches. Needless to say he walked away with a first place medal. This is a tremendous accomplishment for Junior Nnamdi Olebara who is in his second year throwing and like he said “It’s just the start”. We are looking forward to more excellent things to come from him and the entire Flowers track and field team.
