Summer Opportunity for Arabic Speakers!

On Wednesday, December 3, 2018, Ms. Linda Aarons informed students of a new opportunity for Arabic speakers!
The World Learning Youth Program is currently looking for program facilitators that can speak Arabic. Those who are hired will be facilitating the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP). In addition, they will assist Iraqi teenagers while they are exploring the United States during July. These teenagers will be learning about social justice, peace-building, and leadership. The entire program will be funded by the Department of State.
Students who choose to do this program can benefit by practicing Iraqi dialect, learn about Iraqi culture, and supporting young leaders while they are searching for peace. Be aware that facilitators must have strong enough Arabic language proficiency to support participants who cannot speak any English!
