Is AP and Honors Classes College and Career Ready?

Patricia Daniel

In an AP and Honors class, a student works harder than in an average class. The difference between Honors and AP classes versus regular classes is the rigorous work that is required to be college and career ready. Being college and career ready means doing college level work and that would prepare you for the tasks given in college. To prove that you have what it takes to be college and career ready you must do the work and turn it in on time.
Honors and AP classes prepare a person for what professors are going to give in the future. This helps you become and get college and career ready because you have a taste  what it is like to get a lot of work and you can expect what to get in college.
