On Saturday, February 10, 2018, the Alfred Street Baptist Church is hosting their 16th Annual HBCU Festival from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This event will take place at The Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. The event is free, but you must register at:  http://www.alfredstreet.org/ministries/outreach-and-missions/hbcu-festival/#
Their target audience is mainly high school juniors and seniors, but tenth graders are allowed to attend.  Parents and guardians are also able to attend the festival with their child.
There are various benefits that you can obtain from this festival. For instance, over 70 HBCUs will be represented at the festival and there will be plenty of scholarship opportunities. Seniors and high school graduates especially are able to benefit because some of the schools will also waive application fees; conduct on-site interviews; and offer conditional admissions on the spot.  There will also be seminars for students and their parents/guardians.
