Cell Phones and Student Use

Danielle Barnes

Have you ever used your phone in class? Do you think that is a good place to use your phone? After reading this you might understand why this can effect you long term in learning.
Cell phone have a big impact of students and their day to day life. The use of phones can not only distract students but can create drama and delay the learning in the classrooms. When using phones during class they can distract the teacher and take the class lesson off track. As a student in a classroom I have witnessed students on their phone not paying attention to the lesson. This can cause the student to have poor test grades or class grade overall. I think this is very disrespectful to the teacher because it tells the teacher that what they are teaching isn’t important.
