The President vs. The Pope

Kyree Thomas

Rashawn Gilbert and I, Kyree Thomas, proposed a very important question to the staff and students at the Mecca.  “If you had a wish and could be anything in the world, what would you be?”
Rashawn chose to be the president because he is the most important man in the United States. I chose the Pope because he has more money and power.  In order to settle the debate of who was right, we asked our peers.  The vote was two-for president and two-for the Pope. To break the tie, we went to Professor Whitworth. She said, “That’s a great question! I chose the Pope because Catholics have been in charge way before the United States existed. Plus, the Arch Diocese runs the world.”
