Management and Tech Summer Institute

Tonea Epps

The Wharton University of Pennsylvania invites students to apply to the Management and Tech Summer Institute. It is Penn’s oldest coordinated dual-degree program, combining the fields of engineering and business. This program is a 3-week session that gives students a unique opportunity to explore the combination of engineering, business, and entrepreneurship on a dynamic and Ivy league campus. The program is led by Penn professors, guest instructors, and includes site visits to companies, exercises, and activities designed to coach the fundamental skills necessary for academic and career success. By the end of the program, students will understand the possibilities that an undergraduate education in engineering and/or business develop knowledge and skills to prepare them for the future.  Selections will be based on academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, an interest in exploring engineering and business concepts, and future potential for leadership. Application requirements include your official academic transcripts, two letters of recommendations, a short essay, and test scores( SAT, PSAT, or ACT). The deadline for all application materials and even financial aid applications is March 1. They will select up to 50 participants to participate in the summer program.
