Sports Season Updates

Golf – Coach Green
“This year as a team we finished 4th in the District and County Championships which really wasn’t bad out of approximately eight 4-A teams competing, however, my goal was no worse than 3rd.   We also had three team members to finish in the top 25 in the county (Shaq Watson-24th, Brendenn Davis-19 th). Our results for today are as follows: David-61, Sarah-57, Brendenn-58-55=113, Shaq-51-52=103 and Kevin Lewis-47-47=94.  Brendenn Davis just missed third place by 4 strokes, Sarah Muh (Team Manager) and Kevin (Team Captain) actually saved the season for Flowers.   Sarah finished third in the Girl’s Division and Kevin “WON” the Boy’s Junior Division in a two hole play off against Trevor Evans of Roosevelt High School after they tied with a fine score of  94.  As a coach, I am proud of all my players and I am extremely proud of how Kevin conducted himself after three seasons of hard work. eat for a first year player and Kevin-15th), that is a job well done.”
