Below I have compiled a simple and easy dish for you and your family to try. It is a Chinese dish called Bok Choy that requires just a few ingredients for an absolutely great tasting dish! Listed below are the simple steps you can follow to prepare this easy and tasty meal:
Ingredients:
- 1 Large Head of Boy Choy
- 1 Pack of Ramen Noodles crushed
- 3 teaspoons of canola or olive oil
- 1/2 cup of Slivered Almonds
- 1/2 cup of Sunflower Seeds
- 1 Bunch of Spring Onions Chopped
Dressing:
- 1/2 Cup of canola or olive oil
- 1/4 Cup of Rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 Cup of raw, crystalized, brown, or white (if that is all you have) sugar
- 1 tbsp. of Soy Sauce (or Amino)
Directions:
- The Boy Choy resembles celery stalk. Cut and discard the very dense end part at the bottom, and separate stalk/leaves. Wash stalks/leaves in cold water and dry. Chop entire stalk (green leafy part and white stalk) into bite size pieces. Set aside in a large salad bowl. (Keep leaves chilled if not serving it soon)
- Clean and chop the spring onions and add to salad bowl
- Crush the 1 pack of Ramen noodles and add to the salad bowl
- Put the oil in a small frying pan. Add slivered almonds and brown them slowly on a low to medium low heat, and add to salad bowl
- Add sunflower seeds and dressing to the salad bowl and mix together so that the dressing is spread throughout the salad
- In a liquid shake container combine all the ingredients for the dressing
- Serve!
