Anaya Porter and Mr. Mallardi

Below I have compiled a simple and easy dish for you and your family to try. It is a Chinese dish called Bok Choy that requires just a few ingredients for an absolutely great tasting dish! Listed below are the simple steps you can follow to prepare this easy and tasty meal:

  • 1 Large Head of Boy Choy
  • 1 Pack of Ramen Noodles crushed
  • 3 teaspoons of canola or olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of Slivered Almonds
  • 1/2 cup of Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 Bunch of Spring Onions Chopped

  • 1/2 Cup of canola or olive oil
  • 1/4 Cup of Rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup of raw, crystalized, brown, or white (if that is all you have) sugar
  • 1 tbsp. of Soy Sauce (or Amino)

  1. The Boy Choy resembles celery stalk. Cut and discard the very dense end part at the bottom, and separate stalk/leaves. Wash stalks/leaves in cold water and dry. Chop entire stalk (green leafy part and white stalk) into bite size pieces. Set aside in a large salad bowl. (Keep leaves chilled if not serving it soon)
  2. Clean and chop the spring onions and add to salad bowl
  3. Crush the 1 pack of Ramen noodles and add to the salad bowl
  4. Put the oil in a small frying pan. Add slivered almonds and brown them slowly on a low to medium low heat, and add to salad bowl
  5. Add sunflower seeds and dressing to the salad bowl and mix together so that the dressing is spread throughout the salad
  6. In a liquid shake container combine all the ingredients for the dressing
  7. Serve!
