Support the Stuff-A-Bus Canned Food Drive! Our goal is to fill an entire bus with canned goods, but we need the entire CHFHS community’s help to do it.

Each 1A class is competing to bring in the most canned goods and non-perishables. The winning class will receive a delicious meal of pizza, ice cream or breakfast.

There are also collection boxes in the Main Office and the Guidance Office for teachers, staff, parents and community members to donate their goods. All donations will support the Capitol Area Food Bank.

The food bank especially needs these items: Canned meat, Peanut Butter, Nuts and seeds, Dried beans, Powdered milk, Dry box baby food, Canned fruits and juices, Canned vegetables, Canned soups and stews, Oatmeal, Breakfast cereal, Rice, Rice cakes, Pasta, and Infant formula.

The last day to bring in your donations is November 30, 2011. So hurry and bring in those cans!!

Look for updates on which 1A class is in the lead and how many cans the school has collected atwww.chfhsnews.com starting Monday, Nov. 14.
