Are Race and Citizenship Polar Opposites?

Are Race and Citizenship polar opposites? Polar opposite is two or more things that are totally opposite from each other, for example, black and white or boy and girl. A race is a group of people of common ancestry, distinguished from others by physical characteristics, such as hair types, the color of eyes and skin. The definition of citizenship is the place or status of being a citizen of a particular country. With that being, said I do not believe that both race and citizenship are “polar opposites”. I do believe they are opposite but at the same time, both race and citizenship correlate in a way, therefore, they cannot be polar opposites.
