Internship for Delegate Simpson

Maurice Simpson, 2007 graduate of C.H. Flowers, is offering an internship opportunity to juniors and seniors.
Interns will learn how to run a successful grassroots campaign while working under Simpson. His campaign is endorsed by Prince George’s County Educators’ Association (PGCEA). With this internship, students will also earn professional references and community service.
Interns are expected to have flexible hours, experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and social media platforms.
There are various projects interns can take on, depending on their area of interest. These projects include:
1. Grassroots Organization and Voter Outreach
2. Volunteer Recruitment and Retention
3. Policy Research
4. Social Media and Developing an Online Presence
5. Earned Media Events
6. Targeting and Voter History Research
7. Personalized Mailings
8. Coalition Building
9. Fundraising and Event Turnout
