The most traditional way of celebrating Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart is taking them out to dinner. With the troubling economy,  it can be quite expensive to take your date out. However, there are affordable restaurants that can fit into your price range.

Red Lobster

$15 at Red Lobster can get you a complete Four Course Feast for a limited time. According to www.redlobster.com the new Four Course Seafood Feast comes with one salad and unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Entrees, such as Garlic-Herb Shrimp and Chicken and Cajun Linguini Alfredo, can be chosen plus many more. To end the Four Course Feast, a desert comes with the meal. Warm Chocolate Chip Lava Cookie and Warm Apple Crumble a la Mode are just two out of many desserts that can be chosen.

T.G.I Friday’s

Two for $10 is a special going on at Friday’s. One entrée and one starter or one entrée and one dessert is for $10. With a starter such as Crispy Green Bean Fries, an entrée like Bruschetta Chicken Pasta, and a dessert such as Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie,  there is a variety of food combinations that you can mix and match from.

Three courses for only $12.99 is another special deal that is very inexpensive. It includes one starter, one entrée and one dessert. An example of a meal according to www.tgifridays.com is the Spinach Florentine Flatbread for a starter, Parmesan Crusted Chicken for an entrée and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake for dessert.

Applebee’s

Two for $20 is a new special at Applebee’s that will not break the bank. This meal includes one appetizer and two entrées for only $20. According to applebees.com/menu, your meal can include their new dishes such as the new Bruschetta Chicken or Chicken Fettuccine Carbonara. Appetizers such as mozzarella sticks or boneless wings can be a great starter too.

Chili’s

$20 dinner for two at Chili’s will be a nice date for Valentine’s Day as well. Couples can share an appetizer and two full size entrees. With appetizers such as Tostada Chips and Salsa and entrees including Half- Rack Baby Back Ribs with Homestyle Fries or Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadillas, your date is sure to be special.
