Hot Swapping (Just What is It?)

Nnadozie Okarazu

The act of hot swapping, insertion, and plugging, is a hardware replacement technique that allows you to remove a computer component without powering down the system. This technique saves time when removing peripherals, as opposed to powerinf down the computer before removing the hardware. Imagine if you had to shut down your system before removing a USB. That would be arduous and tasking. Thankfully, the advancement of technology saves us time from procedures that would otherwise take a long time to complete.
