On May 9, 2018, there was a email sent out to students, for juniors only, about the Posse Foundation which is a college program that recruits students from high schools in the area and sends them to the top collages and universities in the country. Students who become finalists receive tuition scholarships from partner collages and universities. Posse scholarships were awarded to students at C.H. Flowers high school.
