INCOMING FRESHMAN

 FRESHMAN TAKE NOTES

Welcome to Charles Herbert Flowers High School, “The Mecca of Excellence”. Here are 3 tips that incoming freshmen NEED to survive.

  1. CHECK YOUR SCHEDULE BEFORE THE SCHOOL YEAR STARTS

Checking your schedule is very essential to the start of a good school year. Checking your schedule helps you understand what classes you will be taking in the school year. If you have an elective that you think you won’t be interested it switch out before it’s too late! You are more likely to succeed in classes that you enjoy taking.
2. HANG WITH THE RIGHT CROWD
Friends have a really huge impact on social life in high school. Pick and choose your friends. I know that sounds wrong but it is what it is. Hanging around people that pressure you to make wrong decisions, is only going to make your life more stressful than it will already be.
3. STAY ON YOUR TEACHER’S GOOD SIDE
A good first impression is the first step to being on your teachers’ good side. Being on your teachers’ good side helps especially at the end of the quarter where you may need to redo some assignments. Or even when you need a pass if you get caught in a hall sweep.

I hope these tips are helpful to all the new freshman.
