Scholarship of the Week: AFCEA Merit-Based Scholarship

The Washington, DC Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) is offering merit-based scholarship to students in the metropolitan area, including Prince George’s County.
The AFCEA is offering an$8,000 two year scholarship and a $12,000 three year scholarship that is available to a high school senior planning to attend a four year college. Scholarships are available to students who plan in majoring in fields such as electrical, computer, chemical, electronics, and the sciences.
Applicants must be in the eligible field, maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better, and have not received a full scholarship. The application deadline is April 25, 2012.
