Flowers Librarian Mrs. Keith Discusses Retirement

Q: What Made you want to be a librarian?
A: I lived with my aunt and my mother. My aunt was a librarian and i used to go to the library with her all the time, since I was 5 years old. I have been reading books since I was 5 and it was always something i wanted to do.
Q: What were you doing before you became a librarian?
A: Before i became a librarian i was a tenth grade English teacher in Texas, where i was born and raised.
Q: What is your most memorable moment a CHFHS?
A: One of the most memorable moment was getting the job to work at Flowers. It was an honor for me to work at a school named after a Tuskegee Airman.
Q: What are your plans after retirement?
A: I will continue to sing with Potomac Harmony Chorus. That’s my favorite thing to do. I will also rest and travel with my husband. Hopefully one day, I will work at a public library.
Q: What will you miss most about CHFHS?
A: The students because a lot of them I’m kinda attached to. I will miss being here and being the sponsor of the academics team.
